Communication Specialist III

A leading financial ratings organization is hiring a Communication Specialist III to support their global communications team. Based in New York, NY, this temp role offers a 12-month contract with potential for extension or full-time conversion. The position involves managing media relations, supporting executive and internal communications, and enhancing the organization's reputation across the Americas and Europe.

Communication Specialist III Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement media relations strategies to elevate the organization's visibility in key markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial, business, and trade media outlets.
• Manage incoming media inquiries and craft timely, accurate responses.
• Support crisis communication and monitor their impact on reputation.
• Assist senior leaders with preparing speeches, briefing documents, and media interviews.

Communication Specialist III Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.
• Demonstrated experience working with complex, regulated organizations.
• Established relationships with media in business, financial, and trade sectors.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
