Oscar Wilde is seeking an experienced Maître d’ with a positive attitude, a passion for hospitality, and a genuine enjoyment of making guests feel welcome.

As the first impression of our restaurant, you’ll set the tone for each visit and help keep service organized in a busy, lively environment.

Responsibilities

● Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism.

● Manage reservations, walk-ins, waitlists, and seating.

● Lead the host team and coordinate with managers and servers to maintain a smooth flow of service.

● Handle guest requests and concerns with patience and care.

● Maintain accurate reservation notes and communicate special occasions and guest preferences.

Requirements

● Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maître d’ in a high-volume restaurant.

● A friendly, positive attitude and strong guest service skills.

● Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

● Ability to stay calm, welcoming, and focused during busy shifts.

● Experience with reservation platforms such as OpenTable, Resy, or SevenRooms.

● Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
