Job Description

Marketing Coordinator - Consumer and Trade Marketing

Are you a creative, organised and hands‑on marketer who loves seeing ideas come to life? We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Mustela Australia marketing team and play a key role across both Consumer and Trade Marketing.

This is an exciting opportunity for a marketer who wants broad exposure across the full marketing mix — from consumer campaigns, events and partnerships to retail activations, POS, sales tools and creative production.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and collaborate with Sales, agencies, suppliers, retailers and other partners to bring the Mustela brand to life across Australia.

About the role

This is a varied and hands‑on role where no two days are quite the same.

You’ll support the development and execution of the consumer marketing plan while also taking ownership of key trade marketing activities across our retail and pharmacy partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the development and execution of consumer marketing campaigns and the promotional calendar.

Helping bring new product launches and promotions to life through compelling marketing tools and assets.

Supporting consumer research, market intelligence and competitor analysis.

Managing and developing third‑party partnerships and supporting parent and healthcare professional advocacy initiatives.

Creating and managing in‑store POS, merchandising materials and retail collateral.

Developing deal sheets, new product submissions, catalogue artwork and other sales tools for pharmacy partners.

Managing POS, samples and gift inventory in collaboration with the Warehouse.

Working closely with Sales to ensure campaigns and POS are executed in‑store and consistently reflect Mustela brand guidelines.

Planning and coordinating Mustela's presence at Expos, Baby Fairs, Trade Shows and professional congresses — from logistics through to on‑site execution.

Creating presentations, training tools and marketing materials for our sales team and customers.

Designing POS, kits and campaign artwork using Canva and/or AdobeCreative Suite.

Managing print production from briefing and artwork specifications through to proofing and final delivery.

Coordinating with external designers, agencies, printers and suppliers.

Supporting the brand's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

Tracking performance and ROI across offline consumer activations.

About you

You’re a marketer who enjoys being both strategic and hands‑on. You can move comfortably from developing a marketing idea to coordinating suppliers, creating a presentation, checking artwork or helping deliver an event.

You’ll ideally bring:

A degree in Marketing or Business.

Around 3 years' marketing experience across brand, category, agency, digital or a similar environment.

Experience in event coordination, expos or trade shows.

Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, FMCG or consumer care marketing.

Experience in trade marketing.

Strong project management, organisational and communication skills.

Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook skills.

Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign

An understanding of print production, including artwork specifications, proofing and working with printers.

A creative eye and the ability to turn ideas into engaging, on‑brand materials.

The confidence to work with a broad range of stakeholders and manage multiple projects at once.

Most importantly, you’re self‑motivated, adaptable and proactive, with a genuine can‑do attitude. You’re comfortable working in a small team, enjoy taking initiative and are excited by the opportunity to develop across both consumer and trade marketing.

Why this role?

This is a great opportunity to build a broad marketing skill set within a well‑established consumer brand.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience across campaigns, retail, events, partnerships, creative production and customer engagement, while working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider commercial team.

The role is designed to give you increasing ownership and responsibility as you develop — making it an ideal next step for a marketer looking to broaden their experience and make a visible impact.

What’s in it for you?
