The Opportunity
Recruiter Concierge is partnering with a Series A AI fintech company to identify an exceptional Head of Go-to-Market.
Our client is building an AI-powered capital platform that underwrites, funds, and manages financing for consumer brands selling through major national retailers. The company is backed by significant institutional funding and operates with a lean team supported by a fleet of AI agents. This person will own how consumer-brand founders discover, understand, and choose the company.
You will build the go-to-market strategy and create the partnerships, communities, positioning, playbooks, and referral channels required to generate measurable pipeline. This is not a role where you will inherit a mature partner ecosystem or an established go-to-market playbook. You will identify the right partners, make the introductions, negotiate the relationships, create the operating infrastructure, and ensure those partnerships produce results.
Your work will become a visible part of how the company presents itself to the market. As the business grows, you will also have the opportunity to help build and lead the broader go-to-market and marketing function.
What You Will Do
- Set the strategy for how consumer-brand founders discover, understand, and choose the company.
- Own the pipeline number connected to the company’s go-to-market strategy.
- Identify, pitch, negotiate, launch, and manage strategic partnerships.
- Build relationships with media companies, trade publications, newsletters, and service providers trusted by consumer-brand founders.
- Develop referral relationships with 3PLs, brokers, accountants, fractional CFOs, and other professionals advising consumer brands.
- Build the company’s presence within founder groups, industry events, and CPG operator communities.
- Turn community participation, partnerships, and market relationships into qualified introductions and pipeline.
- Develop positioning, sales playbooks, referral programs, and enablement materials that convert introductions into funded customers.
- Create the sourcing, tracking, reporting, and operating infrastructure required to manage multiple active partnerships.
- Define and monitor partner return on investment and pipeline contribution by channel.
- Use performance data to determine which partnerships and channels should be expanded, improved, or discontinued.
- Bring market feedback to the product team and help shape future product decisions.
- Work closely with the founders, sales, product, and marketing teams.
- Help build the future marketing and go-to-market team as the company grows.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional experience across partnerships, business development, growth, sales, or a combination of these areas.
- Experience owning a measurable pipeline, revenue, growth, or partnership number.
- A demonstrated record of building a channel or partner program from zero.
- Experience personally identifying, pitching, negotiating, closing, and managing partners.
- Evidence that the partnerships or channels you created produced measurable business results.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and execution skills.
- The ability to develop positioning, playbooks, referral programs, and partner infrastructure.
- Strong analytical judgment and comfort measuring partner return on investment and pipeline contribution.
- Comfort working within, or quickly learning, the consumer brand and CPG ecosystem.
- Familiarity with current AI and coding tools.
- The ability to work independently without waiting for an established playbook.
- Comfort operating in an early-stage environment where priorities and responsibilities can evolve quickly.
- The judgment and confidence to represent the company publicly.
Nice to Have
- Existing familiarity with consumer brands and the CPG ecosystem.
- Relationships with trade publications, industry events, founder communities, 3PLs, brokers, accountants, or fractional CFOs.
- Experience building partnerships with media companies, newsletters, or trusted service providers.
- Previous fintech or startup experience.
- Experience helping build or lead a marketing or go-to-market team.
Why This Role
- Own the company’s go-to-market and partnership strategy.
- Build the partner ecosystem, operating infrastructure, and referral playbook from the ground up.
- Take direct ownership of measurable pipeline results.
- Work directly with the founders, sales, product, and marketing teams.
- Shape how consumer-brand founders discover and understand an emerging AI fintech company.
- Influence future products through direct market and partner feedback.
- Help build and lead the go-to-market function as the company grows.
- Receive a competitive base salary and meaningful early-stage equity.
