Project Engineer /Sr. Automation Engineer/Lead Commisioning

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Strictly maintain office timings
\n
• Software development in different range of automation products
\n
• Testing of control panels after the software integration
\n
• Conduct Factory Acceptance test as per the procedure
\n
• Provide Service support to customers as and when required
\n
• Involve in project installation and commissioning at customer site
\n
• Rigorously follow documentation policy
\n
• Understanding and implementing the quality procedures of company
\n
• Maintain time sheets for all projects and service visits & also Expense Report.
\n
• Prepare an MOM at the end of a project OR service visit
\n
• Assisting company in reducing the costs of the project
\n
• Travel to site at sufficient notice for project execution purposes
\n
• Stay at site for a reasonable period for commissioning purposes
\n
• Maintain activity log/time sheets of all the activities done at site
\n
• Ensure and maintain good reputation with customer
\n
• Report on the progress of a project to the team leader/ project manager
\n

\n

Academic Qualification and Certification

\n

\n
• BE-(EEE) or Diploma in EEE
\n

\n

\n

Work Experience

\n

\n
• At least 3 yrs relevant experience in similar role
\n
• Total Experience – 3 to 10 yrs.
\n

\n

\n

\n

Skills:

\n

\n
• Human machine interface, Protocols – Modbus, Profibus, Profinet etc.
\n
• Understanding of 1200 series, S7300 series, S7400 series.
\n
• Familiar with basic principles of electrical, electronics and computer engineering
\n
• Understanding the product range VAES works with
\n
• Knowledge of configuration of different range of automation products
\n
• Familiar with basic principles of electrical, electronics and computer engineering
\n
• To understand the process, process diagrams, and process instruments
\n
• Basic Panel Building and Wiring Skills
\n
• Basic field instrumentation
\n

Basics of data communication & networking

\n

\n

Critical:

Ability to work with

• Siemens Simatic Manager / Similar software from vendors like Rockwell, ABB etc
\n
• SCADA software
\n
• Basics of drives
\n

\n

Essential :

• Computer literate in word-processing, spreadsheet and electronic mail application.
\n
• Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
\n
• Ability to train the subordinate.
\n
• Good interaction with Customer.
\n
