Job Description

BSC Freight Pty Ltd is seeking reliable and experienced Delivery Drivers to join our growing regional transport operations in the Riverina. The successful applicants will undertake scheduled delivery services throughout Griffith and surrounding Riverina areas while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and operate allocated delivery vehicles from designated locations.
• Complete scheduled deliveries accurately and on time.
• Load, secure, transport and unload goods safely.
• Conduct pre-start and post-shift vehicle inspections.
• Maintain delivery records, run sheets and proof-of-delivery documentation.
• Report vehicle defects, delays, incidents and delivery issues promptly.
• Comply with road laws, workplace health and safety requirements, fatigue-management procedures and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch staff and site personnel.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safe operating condition of allocated vehicles and equipment.

Essential Requirements

• A current Australian driver licence appropriate for the allocated vehicle.
• Previous commercial delivery-driving or multidrop delivery experience.
• A safe driving history and sound knowledge of road-safety requirements.
• Ability to perform manual handling, including loading and unloading goods.
• Ability to use mobile delivery applications and electronic proof-of-delivery systems.
• Good time-management, communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness and ability to live and work in the Riverina region.
• Availability to work early mornings, weekends and rostered overtime where required.
• Full Australian working rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored employment.

Desirable

• Experience in supermarket, grocery, refrigerated or time-sensitive deliveries.
• Familiarity with Griffith and surrounding Riverina delivery routes.
• Experience completing vehicle safety checks and delivery compliance records.
• LR or MR driver licence, where required for the allocated vehicle.

Salary and Conditions

The position offers a base salary of $72,000-$82,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience, licence class and demonstrated capability. Applicable overtime, penalty rates and allowances will be paid in accordance with the relevant industrial instrument and employment agreement.
