Responsibilities
- Transporting and delivering items to clients in a safe, timely manner, at an average of 15-20 drops daily with occasional supplier pick up/s.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied
- Adhering to invoice terms
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions and handling customer complaints
- Ensure all delivery instructions are adhered to Eg. Time schedule, credit pickups, communications with customers
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
- To put stock away in designated areas depending on the customer’s requests
- . Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks on your assigned vehicle
Qualifications
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to deal with complaints in a professional manner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to work in a team environment with a can-do attitude
- Exceptional communication skills
- Good driving record
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures and transportation laws
- Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
