Senior Associate / Associate – General Corporate

About the Role
JSA Advocates & Solicitors is seeking talented and motivated legal professionals to join its General Corporate practice as an Associate or Senior Associate. The role offers an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value transactions across Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Private Equity (PE), and Venture Capital (VC), advising leading businesses, investors, and institutions.
What You’ll Do
- Advise clients on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including M&A, private equity investments, venture capital transactions, and related corporate restructuring.
- Conduct legal due diligence and identify key legal, regulatory, and commercial risks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation, including Share Purchase Agreements, Shareholders’ Agreements, Share Subscription Agreements, and other ancillary documents.
- Assist in structuring and executing complex corporate transactions.
- Work closely with clients, partners, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver commercially sound legal solutions.
- Manage transaction timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to the successful closing of deals.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of relevant post-qualification experience (PQE) in General Corporate, M&A, PE, or VC transactions.
- Prior experience with a leading law firm, preferably a Tier 1 law firm.
- Strong understanding of corporate laws, transactional documentation, and due diligence processes.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
