Location: Remote within Australia

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 + super

Employment: Permanent, full-time

\n You’ll work in a collaborative product engineering team and own meaningful features from technical design through to production. This is ideal for an engineer ready to move beyond ticket-based delivery and take responsibility for increasingly complex work.

What you’ll do

\n

\n
• Deliver features across Node.js services, React applications, APIs and integrations
\n
• Own work from requirements and technical design through to testing and release
\n
• Translate customer needs into practical technical solutions
\n
• Contribute to testing, observability, documentation and production reliability
\n
• Explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly
\n
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve delivery
\n
• Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders and other business teams
\n

What we’re looking for

\n

\n
• Professional software engineering experience in a product environment
\n
• Strong foundations across APIs, data, testing, debugging and production delivery
\n
• Experience independently delivering features or project workstreams
\n
• A backend-leaning skill set with the ability to contribute across the stack
\n
• Clear communication and the ability to work effectively in a remote team
\n
• A practical understanding of code quality, security and maintainability
\n

\n

Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS, SaaS platforms or event-driven systems will be beneficial but isn’t essential.

\n
