Account Specialist

LyondellBasell is looking for an Account Specialist to join our team in Vikhroli, Mumbai.

As an Account Specialist, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality customer service and supporting the domestic and export order fulfillment process. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, product availability, transportation, delivery, and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer requests and orders in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
• Coordinate with Planning, Sales, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, and other partner functions to ensure effective order fulfillment.
• Support the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, from order entry and planning through shipping, delivery, billing, and credit management.
• Monitor product availability and coordinate transportation and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer master data in SAP in coordination with the Master Data team.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and support other businesses within the team when required.
• Follow company policies, procedures, governance requirements, and quality standards.
• Continuously develop knowledge of business processes, products, systems, and customer service practices.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Supply Chain.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.
