We’re Hiring: Motion Designer — Rive

Location: Pune (onsite)

At Frido, we’re building products that help people move, work, travel, rest, and live more comfortably. We’re now looking for a Motion Designer with strong Rive expertise to bring our digital experiences to life.

This role sits at the intersection of motion, visual design, interaction, and technology—from making a product page more engaging to shaping the motion language of our upcoming app.

What You’ll Do

• Own Rive animation & interactive motion, including state-based animations, interactions, and reusable motion components.
• Create hero animations, banners, micro-interactions and product storytelling across Frido’s mobile and desktop website.
• Bring product features, benefits and offers to life through motion that improves engagement, comprehension and conversion.
• Design motion experiences for our upcoming iOS & Android app, including onboarding, transitions, feedback states and micro-interactions.
• Build scalable motion systems across web and mobile with consistent timing, easing, and interaction principles.
• Take ideas from concept → design → animation → prototype → developer handoff → production.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, Brand, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
• Balance visual polish, usability, performance, and technical feasibility.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on Rive expertise, especially interactive/state-based animations.
• Strong understanding of timing, easing, transitions, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent visual design fundamentals—composition, typography, hierarchy, and colour.
• Experience designing motion for web and/or mobile products.
• Strong attention to detail and obsession with the last 5% of polish.
• Ability to understand technical constraints and collaborate effectively with developers.
• A D2C/e-commerce mindset—understanding how motion can make a customer experience more engaging and intuitive.
