Redstone Commodity Search are working with a European, international energy products trading company who are looking for an experienced, commercially minded, demurrage and claims analyst to join their team in Hamburg.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

\n

\n

\n
• Analyse relevant documentation to prepare accurate laytime calculations and demurrage claims.
\n
• Manage and prepare all documents, and justifications, to pursue claims or escalate as needed.
\n
• Approach claims with a commercial mindset in order to financially optimise the demurrage process.
\n
• Flag any recurring discrepancies to streamline operations and amend and enhance contract language
\n
• Role reports to the Head of Operations

Key Qualifications / Experience

\n

\n

\n
• 2+ years working in maritime transport and logistics.
\n
• Strong experience working in laytime and demurrage analysis and claims
\n
• Exemplary negotiation skills and ability to structure and articulate arguments.
\n
• Capability to be rigorous and detail oriented in a high-pressure environment
\n
• Role is to be located in Hamburg
