Senior M&A Analyst
\nLocation: Düsseldorf, Germany

\nSalary: €60,000 + Bonus
\nWe are partnering with a leading European buy-and-build platform specialising in IT managed services and cloud businesses. Backed by a reputable family office and part of a broader digital services group, the company has a strong track record of acquiring and scaling founder-led businesses, establishing a leading position in its home market.
\nFollowing a successful entry into Germany, the business is now accelerating its European expansion with a strong focus on the DACH region. A local team is being built to drive an ambitious acquisition strategy, targeting multiple deals per year and further strengthening its market presence. This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and help shape the growth of a high-performing, entrepreneurial platform.
\nThis is a unique opportunity to join a well-capitalised, entrepreneurial platform at a pivotal stage of its growth journey. You will play a key role in shaping the German and wider DACH expansion strategy while gaining significant exposure to high-profile acquisitions in a fast-moving, private equity-style environment.
\nWorking closely with an experienced international deal team, you will take on broad transaction responsibility, gain hands-on exposure across the full deal lifecycle, and interact directly with founders, management teams, investors, and senior decision-makers across Europe.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Supporting the execution of M&A transactions across the full lifecycle, from origination through to completion \n
- Assessing acquisition targets, including analysing financial performance, commercial positioning, and value creation opportunities \n
- Building and maintaining financial models, including valuation analyses and investment cases \n
- Preparing transaction materials such as investment memoranda, presentations, and due diligence documentation \n
- Coordinating due diligence processes with internal stakeholders and external advisors \n
- Engaging directly with founders and management teams to assess business models and strategic fit \n
- Developing and maintaining relationships with advisors, intermediaries, and industry experts to support deal sourcing activity \n
- Contributing to the development and management of a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities \n
- Supporting transaction negotiations and execution processes \n
- Contributing to team development, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within a fast-growing DACH M&A function \n
The Ideal Candidate
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, with strong academic performance \n
- Experience in M&A, investment banking, transaction services (Big 4), private equity, or corporate finance \n
- Experience supporting or executing end-to-end transactions is strongly preferred \n
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, including building models from scratch \n
- Solid accounting knowledge, including experience analysing financial statements under German GAAP \n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and commercial judgement \n
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint \n
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment \n
- Strong communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders \n
- Native German and fluent English required \n
- Willingness to travel across the DACH region and occasionally internationally \n
