Overview
As Associate Director, you shape and drive the Global Infrastructure Industry Group’s growth strategy. You will lead strategy, thought leadership and marketing aligned with the Firm’s infrastructure capabilities, coordinating with global leaders andPractice Groups. You’ll translate market insights into actionable BD initiatives, enhancing client cultivation and profitability.
This role blends strategic leadership with cross-functional collaboration to elevate the Firm’s infrastructure offering and market position. You’ll have a meaningful impact by guiding campaigns, events and external facing narratives that strengthen the Firm’s reputation in infrastructure.

- Lead the Infrastructure Industry Group's BD strategy in partnership with leadership.
- Identify infrastructure trends and opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Design and implement strategic plans, including client targeting and tracking outcomes.
- Provide strategic advice on industry trends and growth opportunities.
- Translate market and client insights into forward-looking BD initiatives.
- Oversee alignment between Industry Group initiatives, Global Strategic Client strategies and Practice Group priorities.
- Coordinate daily BD activities and manage relevant Client Relationship Managers.
- Shape external positioning and develop thought leadership materials and client presentations.
- Lead infrastructure-wide thought leadership initiatives and external communications.
- Oversee major campaigns, events and pitches; participate in significant proposals and panels.
- Act as senior contact for rankings, media engagement and external profile-building.
- Drive cross-practice collaboration and governance across the Firm.
- Foster internal collaboration and knowledge sharing within the BD team and wider function.
- Lead, develop and manage the Infrastructure BD team with clear priorities and feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced qualifications a plus
- 10+ years of BD experience in a large international law firm, professional services or infrastructure-focused research
- Experience in infrastructure sector and understanding of market trends
- Deep BD experience with client cultivation, industry-led growth and market positioning
- Strategic operations experience with ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Excellent presentation, influencing, negotiating and coaching skills
- Confident, collaborative leader capable of motivating diverse teams
- Ability to work across cultures and time zones with strong leadership and communication
- Strong attention to detail with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools
