Role Description

This is a contract role for a User Acquisition and Performance Marketing Specialist. This role will be responsible for driving user growth through various acquisition strategies, conducting market research, analyzing user data, and may support the Marketing Manager and marketing team with broader marketing activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional services in the setup, management, monitoring, and optimization of paid user acquisition campaigns across platforms including, but not limited to, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other agreed advertising platforms, based on the Company’s objectives, budgets, and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor active acquisition campaigns and independently apply or recommend appropriate optimizations to bidding strategies, targeting parameters, budgets, placements, and creative assets to improve campaign efficiency and user acquisition performance.
  • Develop and conduct A/B tests and other performance experiments to evaluate audiences, messaging, creatives, campaign settings, and other variables with the objective of improving conversion rates and acquisition efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Company’s creative resources by providing performance-related input and recommendations regarding advertising concepts, creative briefs, messaging, and advertising assets to support user acquisition objectives.
  • Track, analyze, and interpret key user acquisition and performance marketing metrics, including, as applicable, CTR (Click-Through Rate), CPA (Cost Per Acquisition), ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), LTV (Lifetime Value), conversion rates, retention, and other agreed performance indicators.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports or summaries, including weekly and monthly reports where requested, and provide insights, observations, and recommendations regarding campaign performance and potential optimization opportunities.
  • Use relevant analytics and attribution platforms, including Google Analytics, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or other agreed tools, to analyze user behavior, attribution, conversion performance, and the effectiveness of user acquisition activities.
  • Monitor relevant developments in user acquisition and performance marketing, including emerging trends, advertising formats, platform updates, and industry best practices, and communicate relevant findings and recommendations to the Marketing Manager.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with marketing funnel analysis and user journey evaluation by providing user acquisition data, performance insights, and recommendations relevant to conversion and retention.
  • Research and provide input on potential growth opportunities, including influencer collaborations, brand partnerships, organic user acquisition initiatives, and other growth strategies, as requested by the Marketing Manager.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of multichannel marketing campaigns, as directed by or in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
  • Provide reasonable assistance with other marketing-related projects and activities that are consistent with the Contractor’s expertise and are mutually agreed upon by the parties.

Qualifications

  • +2 years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or user acquisition.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
  • Knowledge of the entertainment software industry.
  • Basic knowledge of video games. Familiarity with PC and Mobile games.
  • Basic ability and dexterity in playing video games.
  • Flexibility and willingness to independently navigate areas of unfamiliarity.
  • Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent Brazilian Portuguese.
  • Lives in São Paulo-Brazil.
  • Advanced English reading and writing skills.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
