Frorklift Driver

K&K Produce is a family-owned company based in North Co. Dublin, specializing in the growing, producing, and sourcing of fresh potatoes, fruit, and vegetables. We pride ourselves on providing the best and freshest seasonal produce from growers.

Role Description

Experienced Forklift Driver role at K&K Produce based in Dublin. Role will require the successful operation and movement of goods in all areas of our plant. Including yard, stores, production and dispatch and will include:

• Safely moving and handling of ton potato boxes, offloading pallets of potatoes and fresh produce and all other products being delivered to site.
• Loading and offloading trailers;
• Store work, stock rotation, stock control;
• Ensuring packing lines are supplied with product at all times when required.
• Building and wrapping pallets and ensuring goods in and dispatch paperwork to accompany relevant loading/offloading
• Working within quality, health and safety guidelines and food safety standards;
• Fork Lift Checks
• Assisting with assembly of orders for loading with forklift.

Hours of work:

Working 5 days or 5.5 days out of 7, Monday to Saturday on a roster basis.

Salary - €16.00 to €16.20 per hour

Applicants must have:

• Licence to operate a counterbalance forklift truck.
• At least 3 years experience in a busy warehouse environment moving heavy loads.
• Experience of working in a food environment advantageous.
• Have good communication and organisational skills and be able to work on their own initiative, as well as part of a team.
• Be able to work accurately and with attention to detail in a fast-paced working environment;
• Accurate completion of all Goods Inwards Quality Control documentation essential.
• Ensure all Health & Safety Guidelines are followed
