Marketing Associate

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 CAD/year

Location: Toronto, ON

Our client is seeking a Marketing Associate to support growth through data-driven, integrated marketing campaigns. This role combines strategy, analytics, content development, and hands‑on campaign execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated campaigns across email, push notifications, paid media, social, digital, and CRM channels.
• Translate customer insights and performance data into actionable marketing strategies.
• Write and edit marketing copy for landing pages, emails, digital ads, and customer communications.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting, insights, and optimization recommendations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Analytics, Compliance, Tech, Design, PR, and Brand.
• Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals, and multiple concurrent projects.
• Support customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in Marketing, Growth, or Communications.
• 2+ years of financial services experience.
• 1+ year of acquisition marketing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Experience executing multi-channel CRM, email, paid digital, social, and referral campaigns.
• Strong understanding of customer lifecycle, acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion.
• Strong analytical skills with experience turning data into actionable insights.
• Experience with reporting tools, Google Analytics, marketing automation, and social listening platforms.
• Excellent writing, communication, project-management, and organizational skills.iid<
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative Suite.

Nice to Have

• Fintech, banking, or highly regulated industry experience.
• Strong copywriting and content-development skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
