Group Accountant - City Centre

Barden are delighted to be engaged by a privately owned Irish investment group in Dublin city centre, to hire a Group Accountant to join their growing finance team.

\n

With a market-leading package, and flexible hybrid working, it is a role worth getting curious about, for a qualified accountant with 1-4 years PQE, who is ambitious and looking to move into an exciting company, known for its good culture.

ABOUT THE ROLE:\n

\n
• Owning the financial accounting for a portfolio of group entities across a range of sectors;
\n
• Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs, with variance analysis and commentary;
\n
• Preparing statutory financial statements under FRS 102, and running the annual audit;
\n
• Maintaining intercompany reconciliations, loan schedules, and consolidation workings across a large multi-entity group;
\n
• Co-ordinating tax compliance and statutory filings with external advisers;
\n
• Supporting live transactions, investor reporting, and new finance system implementation projects.
\n

ABOUT THE PERSON:\n

\n
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with 1-4 years PQE in indsutry;
\n
• Top 10 practice trained with experience across a variety of client industries;
\n
• Advanced excel skills;
\n

\n

This role will suit qualified accountants looking for a broad group accounting role in Dublin city centre, with hybrid working and genuine transaction exposure.
