Working within our Seniors Communities, you will provide compassionate nursing care, undertake clinical assessments, contribute to care planning and collaborate closely with residents,familiesand multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive health outcomes.

Your Opportunity This is a casual opportunity based at Castle Hill Village Seniors Communities and Health Centre, with available afternoon (3:00pm to 11:00pm) and night (11:00pm to 7:00am) shifts. This role includes conducting wellness assessments, wound care management, catheter care,monitoringhigh-risk residents, coordinating follow-upcareand working collaboratively with families, Clinical Leads and allied health professionals to support positive resident outcomes that enhances their wellbeing and quality of life though inclusive care.

Resident Care &Wellbeing

  • Deliver routine and complex nursing care, including wound management, injections, infectioncontroland medication-related support
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments andmonitorchanges in residents’ health and wellbeing
  • Evaluate resident progress and adjust care interventions asrequired
  • Respond appropriately to clinical incidents, illnesses,fallsand changes in condition
  • Escalate concerns and liaise with doctors, specialists and healthcare providers whenrequired

Communication &Collaboration

  • Build trusted relationships with residents,familiesand representatives
  • Share clinical knowledge and support colleagues to achieve positive resident outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with care teams, allied healthprofessionalsand operational leaders
  • Contribute to the review and evaluation of resident care plans
  • Maintainaccurate,timelyand compliant clinical documentation

Quality, Compliance &Safety

  • Deliver carein accordance withAHPRA standards, aged carelegislationandorganisationalpolicies
  • Support a culture of clinical excellence, continuousimprovementand resident safety
  • Participate in safety,qualityand compliance activities
  • Report incidents,hazardsand risks in line withorganisationalrequirements

What You’ll Bring

You are a compassionate and clinically confident Registered Nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships and making a positive difference in the lives of older people.

What’s required

  • Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment, careplanningand documentation skills

What’s preferred

  • Experience within aged care, retirement living, general practice or community nursing or a high-volume clinical environment
  • A current competency in urinary catheter insertion and removal
  • Sound understanding of aged care standards and funding requirements
  • Current Driver’s License
