Registered Nurse, Support at Home

The Role

Due to growth, we are recruiting experienced Registered Nurses to join our Geraldton team in our Support at Home program.

This community based Nursing role, Geraldton based, will cover Geraldton and surrounding areas.

Working hours will be 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday. Full time is prefrred, but we will consider a 4 day week (minimum) for the right applicant. This role will provide a home garaged vehicle, for work purposes.

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare in a community environment, including service provision, coordination, allocation and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Skills in the area of clinical assessment, problem solving, client and family education.
  • Ability to demonstrate personal care and provide competency based complex care training to direct care workers.
  • Well developed communication (written, verbal and listening) and interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships, promote services and resolve client/staff issues.
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem solving skills to innovatively manage the provision of quality care.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and calendar management software to prepare correspondence and effective documentation.
  • The ability to work autonomously with a team focus to contribute to business unit and organisational objectives.
