Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and preparation of vouchers and invoices. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and assisting with monthly and annual financial statements. The role also covers monitoring project-related expenses, supporting budgeting and cost control, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.

The Accountant will coordinate with project and management teams to provide accurate financial data and reports for decision-making. This is a full-time, in-office role based in the Baner Division.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Understanding of taxation, compliance requirements, and statutory filings relevant to corporate entities.
• Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations with attention to detail.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Prior experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries is preferred.
