About Anker Innovations
Anker Innovations is a global leader in consumer technology, home to beloved brands including Anker, eufy, soundcore, Nebula, and AnkerMake. Driven by the mission to "charge the possibilities through extreme innovation," we build products that millions of consumers love worldwide.
We're expanding our Latin America operations and are looking for a Foreign Trade & Customs Analyst to run the import/export and trade compliance for our Brazil local warehouse.
About the Role
As our Foreign Trade & Customs Analyst, you'll be the regional expert on all Brazilian customs and import matters — ensuring goods clear on time, stay compliant, and keep costs under control. You'll work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, 3PL warehouse teams, and our global supply chain function to keep the flow smooth and predictable.
Key Responsibilities
Customs Clearance & Compliance
- Manage end-to-end import/export clearance, coordinating with brokers and forwarders for timely, compliant release
- Ensure full compliance with Brazilian customs regulations (Receita Federal, SISCOMEX, RADAR, ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, and related tax regimes)
Warehouse & Logistics Coordination
- Support local warehouse operations for bonded and domestic inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and proper goods classification
- Coordinate inbound/outbound customs documentation with 3PL and warehouse teams for smooth stock movement
Documentation & Classification
- Maintain accurate import/export records (invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, certificates, licenses)
- Review and validate NCM (Mercosur Common Nomenclature) and HS code classification to minimize risk and optimize duties
Risk, Cost & Process Improvement
- Identify duty and logistics cost reduction opportunities through special customs regimes (e.g., drawback, ex-tarifário) where applicable
- Monitor and audit broker/forwarder performance; resolve clearance exceptions and disputes
- Track regulatory changes and proactively communicate impact to relevant teams
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in foreign trade, customs, import/export, or international logistics (ideally in Brazil)
- Solid knowledge of Brazilian customs regulations and systems (SISCOMEX, RADAR, NCM, NF-e, Bloco K)
- Experience with import/export documentation and customs brokerage coordination
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple shipments under tight deadlines
- Native Portuguese and professional working English (documents, emails, cross-time-zone calls); Spanish is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP (SAP, TOTVS Protheus, Linx, Blumed) or customs software is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with bonded warehouse operations (depósito alfandegado / armazém geral)
- Knowledge of special customs regimes (drawback, ex-tarifário, temporary admission)
- Background in consumer electronics, e-commerce, or 3PL environments
- Familiarity with ANVISA / INMETRO or other product certification requirements
What We Offer
- CLT formal contract with a competitive benefits package (meal voucher VR/VA, transport allowance VT, health plan, 13th salary)
- The opportunity to build the trade compliance foundation for a growing region within a global brand
- Exposure to world-class supply chain processes and cross-regional collaboration
- A collaborative, growth-oriented culture built on our values: First Principles · Striving for Excellence · Growing Together
