Elementary School Teacher

Bangalore International School is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Elementary School Homeroom Teacher to join our team.

Location: Bangalore

Grades: G3–G5

Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent

Joining: Immediate / October 2026 at the latest

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of elementary teaching experience, preferably with Grades 3–5.
• Experience with or knowledge of the Cambridge and/or IB curriculum.
• Strong conceptual and teaching skills in English and Social Studies.
• Experience with inquiry-based and/or concept-based learning.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• A learner-centred approach that encourages students to ask questions, make connections, explore ideas, investigate and construct their own understanding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in an inquiry-driven or concept-based learning environment will be an added advantage.
