Join the Cancer Program as a Department Office Manager and play a key role in coordinating the day-to-day administrative operations of the Department. You’ll support Consultants and clinical teams, coordinate workloads, maintain key processes and rosters, and provide guidance to administrative staff.

  • Lead, support and coordinate the administrative team
  • Coordinate daily workflows, priorities and administrative services
  • Provide confidential support to Consultants and clinical staff
  • Manage rosters, meetings, appointments and departmental administration
  • Guide and support administrative staff and resolve complex issues
  • Liaise with clinical teams and hospital departments
  • Maintain quality, confidentiality and efficient office processes
  • Coordinate events, projects and continuous improvement activities

About You

  • Ability to lead, support and motivate a team
  • Strong organisation and ability to prioritise competing demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative and sound judgement
  • Experience coordinating workflows, meetings and administrative requirements
  • Confidence working with confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accurate data entry
  • Sound knowledge of medical terminology and customer service principles
