We are partnering with a leading international banking institution to appoint a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to their Dublin-based finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with regulatory reporting experience to join a highly regarded organisation operating across capital markets and banking. The role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, regulatory bodies and strategic reporting initiatives, while providing the opportunity to contribute to ongoing automation and regulatory projects.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of regulatory returns while supporting wider regulatory, finance and business stakeholders.
You will work closely with teams across Finance, Treasury, Risk and Front Office functions, helping to drive reporting enhancements, regulatory change initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and submit regulatory returns in an accurate and timely manner e.g. Liquidity returns, Statistical returns, CoRep, CCR, Anacredit etc.
- Support responses to regulatory authorities and information requests
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Risk and Front Office teams to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness
- Drive regulatory reporting enhancements, automation initiatives and process improvements
- Support the implementation of regulatory change and compliance projects
- Deliver regulatory reporting and analysis to senior management and governance committees
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- 3+ years' post-qualified experience within regulatory reporting in financial services
- Strong understanding of regulatory returns and reporting requirements
- Knowledge of banking regulations and regulatory reporting frameworks
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Axiom or similar regulatory reporting systems would be advantageous
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
