Job Description
Our client is a PLC based in Dublin City Centre. They are looking for a newly qualified accountant to join their team on a permanent basis as a Financial Accountant
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a genuinely varied role, created to add capability to the finance team. It offers early exposure to projects, senior stakeholders, and the wider business rarely available at this stage of a career.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing month-end outputs, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations;
- Supporting ERP and finance transformation projects;
- Assisting with audit schedules and supporting documentation;
- Liaising with finance and non-finance colleagues.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Big 4 or Top 10 practice audit trained;
- A self-starter with a good attitude, who enjoys variety and will bring a fresh perspective;
- Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders;
- Strong Excel skills.
This role will suit a newly qualified accountant, looking for a broad first move into industry
