Pricing Analyst

Job DescriptionPricing Analyst (Utilities) 9 month contract We are seeking an experienced Residential Pricing Analyst to join a dynamic pricing team supporting the development of competitive and innovative electricity and gas products and pricing strategies across the Irish residential market. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical professional who enjoys working with complex data, modelling and market information, while collaborating with teams across pricing, strategy, finance, trading and product development. Key Responsibilities Develop residential electricity and gas prices using cost-based and market-based pricing methodologies and forecasts.

Prepare and analyse price stacks, including detailed price reviews and customer impact analysis. Analyse tariffs and pricing structures to assess profitability and commercial performance. Conduct competitor and market analysis across the Irish electricity and gas markets.

Provide pricing inputs for sales reporting, budgeting and quarterly forecasting. Work collaboratively with Strategy, Product, Pricing, Trading and Finance teams to agree pricing inputs, timelines and deliverables. Support the development, testing and documentation of pricing systems and processes.

Gather business requirements and contribute to functional specifications for pricing models and systems. Develop and execute test scripts and validate pricing results. Respond to tariff-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Essential: Minimum 3-4 years' experience in numerical or analytical work. Strong experience using Excel and computer-based modelling tools. Knowledge of electricity and gas tariffs and pricing structures (beneficial but not essential.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and multiple influencing factors. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
