Director, Fund/Client Accounting Manager

\n

Lead the BNY EMEA Fund Accounting Operations organisation for a strategically significant client
\n Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to teams responsible for NAV production, pricing, controls, and client deliverables
\n Act as EMEA Fund Accounting Operations owner for a single client
\n Build relationships with senior client stakeholders and ensure excellent service delivery
\n Oversee daily NAV production and valuation controls across the Fund Accounting lifecycle
\n Collaborate with Global Product, Technology, Risk, Middle Office, and Functional Utility stakeholders
\n Lead onboarding, conversions, and product launches for new funds and complex product structures
\n Strengthen the control environment, manage audit interactions, and remediate operational risk themes
\n Champion automation, digital tools, data-driven solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities
\n Serve as senior escalation point for break resolution, valuation challenges, and client-impacting incidents

Requirements\n

• Extensive fund accounting expertise, including NAV production, valuation methodologies, complex instruments, and accounting standards across mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative structures
\n
• Proven leadership of large, high-performing operational teams
\n
• Exceptional client-facing capability and experience influencing senior client stakeholders
\n
• Strong cross-functional influence within global organisations and comfort operating in a matrix environment
\n
• Control-focused mindset and strong analytical capability
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment and adapt to evolving client needs
\n
• Ability to operate independently while knowing when to escape or collaborate
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
\n
• Advanced degrees or professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are an advantage
\n
