Job Requirements*
- Design and own the global enterprise architecture for warehouse device management services, encompassing handheld computers, scanners, printers, Android OS, and MDM/EMM platforms.
- Serve as the principal technical authority and escalation lead for highly complex, systemic device, application, security, and integration failures escalated from L3/L2 operations teams.
- Architect master frameworks for Android OS upgrade pathways, OEM firmware baselines, zero-trust security profiles, enrollment certificates, and AAD/SSO authentication matrices before production release.
- Define the enterprise testing methodology and oversee advanced compatibility and regression testing for core warehouse applications, including SAP, WMS, RFID middlewares, native scanning applications, and specialized enterprise browsers.
- Design, scale, and govern structured lab infrastructure frameworks for reproducing edge-case failures, analyzing logs, validating hotfixes, and issuing final global pilot-to-production readiness sign-offs.
- Lead strategic architectural alignments with OEMs and software vendors to drive root-cause investigations for software/hardware defects, influence product roadmaps, and approve global workarounds.
- Establish enterprise governance protocols for fleet-wide device health, lifecycle security risks, MTBF statistics, MDM system architecture, and overall firmware stability.
- Author and structuralize critical engineering documentation, including root-cause analysis (RCA) artifacts, enterprise technical runbooks, and global release readiness frameworks.
Key Responsibilities*
- Drive the corporate device technology roadmap, lifecycle risk assessment frameworks, certified master hardware matrices, and structural hardware refresh strategies.
- Design standardized global testing and compliance frameworks for Android OS, firmware updates, business applications, MDM configurations, and hardware security.
- Provide end-to-end technical leadership, escalation path structuring, and strategic resolution planning for critical, high-impact warehouse device incidents globally.
- Vendor Management: Own strategic OEM and third-party vendor relationships at an architectural level, driving engineering delivery milestones and providing data-driven vendor performance evaluations to executive leadership.

- Release Gatekeeping: Govern global golden image baselines, master enrollment profiles, approved enterprise application catalogs, and configuration compliance standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and champion continuous improvement programs targeting automation, management optimization, standardization, and risk reduction.
