ViTO Energy Engineering & Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager with strong and proven technical expertise in the design, engineering and execution of storage tanks & pressure vessels for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining and Energy projects.
Locations: Mumbai, India & Abu Dhabi, UAE
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of aboveground storage tanks including fixed-roof, internal/external floating-roof, low-pressure and refrigerated/cryogenic tanks.
- Lead the design and engineering of Pressure Vessels/ Heat Exchanger/ Colum.
- Review and validate mechanical design calculations, specifications, datasheets, drawings and other engineering deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with API 650, API 620, API 625, EN 14620 and ASME Section VIII Div. 1/Div. 2, as applicable.
- Provide technical support throughout tender/FEED, detailed engineering, fabrication, construction and commissioning.
- Review vendor designs and calculations, support technical bid evaluations, and coordinate interfaces with Piping, Civil/Structural, Process, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines.
- Ensure engineering designs address materials, welding, NDE, PWHT, testing, fabrication, erection and constructability requirements.
- Lead technical/design reviews, resolve engineering and site execution issues, and interface with clients, consultants and vendors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 + years of relevant Oil & Gas/Petrochemical engineering experience.
- Very strong communication skill to interface with Owner Operator, EPC Contractor, Vendor.
- Skilled in presentation with problem solving skill.
- Demonstrated very Strong hands-on design experience with aboveground storage tanks and pressure vessels.
- Extensive practical knowledge of API 650 and API 620 and strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div. 1 and/or Div. 2.
- Experience with API 625 and/or EN 14620 for refrigerated/cryogenic storage systems is a plus; knowledge of API 653 is an advantage.
- Experience with fixed-roof, internal/external floating-roof and refrigenrated/ cryogenic tanks.
- Strong understanding of materials, welding, NDE, PWHT and fabrication requirements.
- EPC, pressure-vessel manufacturing or specialist tank engineering experience preferred.
- GCC experience and familiarity with client specifications and standards are an advantage.
Software Experience
Hands-on experience with PV Elite and/or COMPRESS for pressure vessels and AMETank, TANK or equivalent for API storage tanks. Experience with ANSYS or equivalent FEA software is an advantage
