Terroir Tribeca is looking for a creative, culturally plugged-in Social Media Specialist to help bring the Terroir brand to life across social media. This role is ideal for someone who understands restaurants, wine, hospitality, nightlife, food, fashion, music, and New York culture—and knows how to turn what’s happening inside and around the restaurant into content people want to watch, share, and engage with.
The right person will have a strong creative eye, excellent social instincts, and the ability to capture Terroir’s distinct voice: knowledgeable but never pretentious, irreverent, energetic, welcoming, and deeply connected to food, wine, and the culture of New York.
This position will initially focus on Terroir Tribeca, with the opportunity to grow into a larger creative and social role overseeing multiple restaurant brands and accounts as the group continues to expand.
What You’ll Do- Own day-to-day content creation and publishing across Instagram, TikTok, and X
- Develop content that consistently reflects Terroir’s voice, personality, and point of view
- Capture the energy of Terroir—from food and wine to guests, events, staff, DJs, nightlife, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Shoot and edit short-form video for Reels and TikTok
- Create original graphics and social assets that feel cohesive with Terroir’s visual identity
- Write sharp, engaging captions and social copy in Terroir’s voice
- Identify relevant trends, formats, sounds, memes, and cultural moments and translate them into content that feels authentic to Terroir
- Build and maintain a consistent content calendar while remaining flexible enough to capture spontaneous moments
- Develop creative concepts and recurring social series that give Terroir a recognizable identity online
- Engage with the Terroir community across social platforms and help grow an active, recognizable audience
- Collaborate with the Terroir team on events, wine dinners, special programming, menu launches, partnerships, and other brand initiatives
- Work closely with chefs, bartenders, sommeliers, managers, and ownership to identify stories and moments worth sharing
