OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to oversee EHS standards within a manufacturing environment. The role will be responsible for promoting a safe workplace, ensuring environmental compliance, managing workplace risks, and maintaining high standards of occupational health and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and management of chemicals
• Monitor environmental compliance, waste management, and occupational health standards
• Conduct EHS training and safety awareness programmes
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and relevant EHS/ISO standards
• Collaborate with production and management teams to strengthen the organisation’s safety culture
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental practices

PRE-REQUISITES

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, OHS, or a related field
• Relevant EHS/HSE experience at Assistant Manager or Manager level
• Experience in rubber, glove, or similar manufacturing environments is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety, environmental compliance, risk management, and chemical handling
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• NEBOSH, IOSH or similar certifications are an advantage
