Senior Automation Tester (Mobile)

We're looking for a Senior Automation Tester (Mobile) to join our team, enhance quality assurance across iOS and Android platforms, and lead automation strategy while ensuring dependable, high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product, Design, and Development teams to understand requirements and build thorough test plans and test cases
• Run functional and automated tests to confirm the accuracy, completeness, and dependability of features
• Help build and improve UI automation frameworks using Espresso and XCUITest
• Assess requirements to determine what can be automated
• Embed automated tests within CI pipelines to catch issues early in development
• Create and review PRs to help achieve full regression automation coverage
• Build and maintain reliable, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts across applications
• Identify, log, and track defects, coordinating with developers for quick fixes and retesting
• Shape test strategy and lead process improvements to boost QA outcomes across various backend teams
• Collaborate with developers to introduce earlier testing through mocking techniques
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities
• Confirm new features don't break existing functionality through regression testing

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical experience with a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience automating mobile app testing with tools like Monkey Talk, Selendroid, Appium, or Katalon
• Practical experience testing iOS and Android apps using both manual and automated approaches
• Familiarity with Functional, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, End-to-End, Compatibility, GUI, Web Services, and Accessibility testing methods
• Working knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, or comparable programming languages
• Skilled in API testing with tools such as Postman or IntelliJ HTTP Client
• Comfortable using debugging tools like Charles Proxy, Splunk, Sentry, or Console
• Solid coding and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail
• Background in full software development lifecycle deployment using Agile methodologies
• Strong communication abilities and a cooperative, team-first attitude
• English language skills at B2 level or above
