Accounts Payable Specialist | Trussville, AL

We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Trussville, Alabama. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional with strong accuracy and experience managing accounts payable, preferably within the construction industry.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and upload invoices received by email, fax, and mail into accounting software
• Accurately enter invoice information and distribute invoices to the appropriate departments
• Verify and post approved invoices
• Review subcontractor pay applications for contract compliance and process entries
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice and payment status

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in construction
• Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy
• Excellent computer and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and follow-through
