The Position

We are seeking aSenior Commercial Managerto lead and manage the East Coast commercial and contracts function for RSGx based in Sydney. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance, ensuring contractual compliance, and overseeing project delivery across multiple high-value electrical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Commercial function for the East Coast business unit, ensuring operational excellence and profitability.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage all contractual and financial aspects of projects, including risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Support tendering, bid preparation, and lead negotiation of major contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to project and commercial teams.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and industry standards.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and forecasts to achieve financial targets.

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial or contract management role within electrical construction or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and commercial frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related discipline (desirable).
