The Position
We are seeking aSenior Commercial Managerto lead and manage the East Coast commercial and contracts function for RSGx based in Sydney. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance, ensuring contractual compliance, and overseeing project delivery across multiple high-value electrical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Commercial function for the East Coast business unit, ensuring operational excellence and profitability.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Manage all contractual and financial aspects of projects, including risk assessment and mitigation.
- Support tendering, bid preparation, and lead negotiation of major contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to project and commercial teams.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and industry standards.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, and forecasts to achieve financial targets.

About You
- Proven experience in a senior commercial or contract management role within electrical construction or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and commercial frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related discipline (desirable).
