• Shopify Plus & Theme Architecture: Minimum 3–4 years of experience building, customizing, and scaling enterprise-level Shopify Plus stores using Online Store 2.0 architecture and CLI tools.
• Liquid Templating Mastery: Deep expertise in Liquid syntax, objects, tags, and filters to build modular, reusable components and dynamic layouts.
• Pixel-Perfect Front-End Development: Advanced skills in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS/SCSS/Tailwind to deliver responsive, cross-browser, pixel-perfect designs from Figma or Adobe XD.
• Shopify Checkout Extensions & Customization: Hands-on experience customizing the Shopify Plus checkout process using Checkout UI Extensions and Shopify Functions (replacing legacy checkout.liquid).
• Headless Commerce & Storefront API: Proficiency with the Storefront API (GraphQL), Headless Commerce architectures (e.g., Hydrogen/Remix or custom JS frameworks), and decoupling storefronts.
• Custom App & Back-End Integration: Experience building custom Shopify apps (Node.js, Ruby, or Python) and working with Shopify Admin APIs (REST/GraphQL), webhooks, and third-party SaaS integrations (CRMs, ERPs, WMS).
• Performance Optimization & Core Web Vitals: Proven track record of optimizing storefront speed, lazy loading, script management, and achieving top Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals scores.
• Data Structuring with Metafields & Metaobjects: Expert knowledge of managing complex product data, custom fields, and content models using Shopify Metafields and Metaobjects.
• Version Control & CI/CD Workflows: Proficiency in Git workflows, branch management, automated deployment pipelines, and environment management (development, staging, production).
• Testing, Accessibility & CRO: Solid understanding of cross-browser testing, web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 compliance), and supporting CRO/A-B testing initiatives (e.g., Klaviyo).
