Manager Operations - Building & Infrastructure

Major Responsibilities

• Monitor and perform the Business in Building & Infrastructure (Construction Technical Control) Sector & as per budget and business plans.
• Market trends analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to development of Market Business strategy by client meeting, exhibitions, workshops etc.
• Team Building (Enhance team’s technical competency).
• Contract Management (Subcon management / External Manpower management)
• Promote Operational Sales.
• Impart in training and develop New Services (Introduce New product /Services, based upon construction industry Need).
• Plan, implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility in co-operation with his superior and manage activities in case of deviations.
• Initiate and take the lead to ensure a reasonable staffing in the area of responsibility as per Budget. Identifying and planning of training needs, resources requirements, etc.
• Build up client relations with major accounts / potentials.
• Monitor and manage operations & perform to the customers & clients expectations. Ensure proper execution of all the contracts on all parameters.
• Achieve collection target.
• The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

• Managing All LTO (Part of external and internal Audits) – to perform the business.
• Revenue, Operating Profit and other financials as per business plan.
• Client relationship – Retention and Growth.
• Cost optimization.
• Account receivables and manage cash flow.
• Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
• Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)
• Recruit & Development and Management of resources.

Qualification and Experience

• Graduate Engineer (Civil Engineer) OR M. Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum10 years of experience.
• Experience in construction industry, preferable from Big EPC players / Consultants is must.
• He should have been in large project mainly involve in Infra and Real Estate segment
• Good control over team and manage P&L
• Should have strong knowledge in PMC/ QA/QC etc.
