About the Company

We are a privately owned, family-operated Western Australian engineering business specialising in mining equipment maintenance, rebuilds, engineering and fabrication.

Why join us?

  • Family-owned WA business with a close-knit team – Work in a smaller, hands-on environment where your contribution is visible and valued.
  • Stable Perth-based role with no FIFO – Based at our Malaga workshop supporting our growing mining and engineering operation.
  • Varied and meaningful role with broad responsibility – Opportunity to work across accounts, payroll, suppliers, purchasing and general business administration rather than being limited to one narrow function.

We are seeking a reliable, organised and proactive Accounts / Administration Officer to support the day-to-day running of the business.

Hours: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Tuesday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Process maintenance reports, leave requests and maintenance scheduling
  • Prepare meeting notes, minutes and monthly management reports
  • Assist with higher-level accounting tasks including BAS preparation and lodgement

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with solid accounts and administration experience, ideally including payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, supplier payments and general financial record-keeping. Higher-level accounting experience, such as BAS preparation and lodgement, is highly regarded.

You will be competent in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office/Outlook and accounting/payroll software, with experience in WorkflowMax (or similar systems) an advantage. Strong professional communication skills, excellent organisation, reliability and a proactive approach are essential.

A positive, high-energy personality who enjoys variety and thrives in a small, hands-on team environment will be a great fit.

Salary Package

  • Higher-level accounts experience (including BAS): $50 per hour
  • Solid accounts/admin experience: $45 per hour
  • General admin/accounts experience with strong potential: $38 per hour

This is a permanent part-time opportunity in a stable, family-run business with genuine variety and the chance to make a real impact.
