Design Engineer

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join a Dungannon based engineering team who specialise in the design and development of agricultural products. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and a practical, hands-on approach to product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop products, ensuring they meet performance, durability, and safety standards.
• Produce engineering drawings, and assembly instructions using CAD software
• Collaborate with production, fabrication, and procurement teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
• Modify existing products for improvements
• Maintain up-to-date design records, bills of materials (BOMs), and documentation

Skills & Experience Required:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of design experience, ideally within a heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, or structural metal fabrication environment
• Proficient in 3D CAD software.
