Role Overview

As a Group Director, Engagement Strategy, Medical Communication, you will lead client engagements, bridging engagement strategy and medical communications. You will craft clinical narratives and medical education experiences tailored to diverse audiences, integrating AI, data, and science to develop impactful healthcare stakeholder experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop deep understanding of audience needs across the customer journey to craft effective messaging.
  2. Guide the creation of seamless omnichannel customer journeys with personalized engagement strategies.
  3. Lead planning of strategic activations connecting goals to engagement tactics.
  4. Design strategies across channels like social, CRM, digital, and in-person interactions.
  5. Develop data-informed, integrated medical communication strategies aligned with stakeholder needs.
  6. Collaborate with scientific teams to create personalized, compliant content and narratives.
  7. Champion AI initiatives and stay updated on emerging technologies.
  8. Build educational online experiences focusing on accessibility and engagement.
  9. Foster strong client relationships, providing ROI-driven solutions.
  10. Mentor junior team members and promote a collaborative team culture.
  11. Participate in new business pitches with innovative ideas.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years in medical communications or education with diverse deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of medical science, preferably with a healthcare or science background.
  • Strategic thinking and experience in activation planning.
  • Proficiency in peer-to-peer engagement tactics and congress experience.
  • Data-driven mindset with success measurement experience.
  • Leadership skills, including coaching and team development.
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's or advanced degree preferred.

Requirements

  • 7-13 years in research and strategic planning.
  • Experience in medical communications strategy and tactics.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Multidisciplinary background in health, marketing, or related fields.

Additional Details

Base salary range: $100,000-$230,000 USD, depending on experience and location. We support hybrid work and are committed to diversity and equal opportunity.
