Accountant

Shane Marine Services Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team in Borivali East, Mumbai. If you have 2–3 years of accounting experience, hands-on experience with Zoho, and a good understanding of GST, TDS, Tally/ERP and MS Excel, this could be the right opportunity for you. Candidates with experience in the marine, shipping, or ship-management industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle day-to-day accounting, invoicing, payments, and receipts.

* Maintain vendor, customer, bank, and general ledger accounts.

* Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.

* Verify and process vessel-related invoices and expenses.

* Coordinate with Purchase, Crewing, Technical, and Operations teams.

* Assist with GST, TDS, audits, and monthly closing.

* Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.

* Prepare basic financial and management reports.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho
• Knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Good knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Marine/shipping/ship-management experience is preferred.
