Job Overview
The Butler Manager oversees the premium butler service operations of our 5-star hotel property. This
leadership role ensures that VIP guests, celebrities, dignitaries, and suite occupants receive flawless,
anticipatory, and completely personalized hospitality. The Butler Manager trains and guides the butler
squad to uphold ultra-luxury service benchmarks, manage daily suite operations, and seamlessly
coordinate interdepartmental workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and schedule the hotel butler team to deliver flawless 5-star
services.
• VIP Guest Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile occupants, handling
pre-arrival profiling, arrival greetings, and custom requests.
• Service Standardization: Enforce meticulous procedures for private dining setup,
unpacking/packing assistance, shoe polishing, and garment pressing.
• Operational Coordination: Collaborate intimately with Housekeeping, Culinary, and Front Office
teams to execute seamless guest transitions and quick turnaround turn-down service.
• Inventory & Budgeting: Monitor and manage high-value assets including fine silver, premium
glassware, luxury suite amenities, and departmental budgets.
• Conflict Resolution: Intervene diplomatically to resolve complex guest issues or special requests
instantly with grace and composure.
Requirements & Skills
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in luxury butler services inside a
5-star hotel or ultra-luxury resort.
• Education: Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or professional accreditation
from an internationally recognized butler academy.
• Etiquette: Masterful expertise in classical table service, mixology, international protocols, wine
pairings, and formal guest relations.
• Communication: Exceptional multilingual verbal communication skills and highly polished physical
presentation.
• Flexibility: Absolute willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, late nights,
holidays, and high-occupancy event windows.
