Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger postings. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring timely invoice processing and vendor payments.

The role will also support tax and statutory compliance, assist with audits, and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights, help optimize costs, and support management in data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit support processes.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, ERP or cloud-based accounting systems).
• Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in corporate or media/marketing environments is beneficial, along with familiarity with Indian accounting standards and local compliance requirements.
