Director, Pricing Strategy - US Companion Animal & Diagnostics

SUMMARY

Zoetis seeks a strategic leader to build and scale pricing strategy capabilities across U.S. Companion Animal & Diagnostics businesses. Lead a team of five analysts to develop lifecycle and segment-informed pricing strategies, ensure disciplined execution, and maximize price realization and margin. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Operations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, coach, and develop five pricing strategy analysts; set objectives and establish best practices.
• Create and continuously refine portfolio and brand-level pricing strategies aligned to product lifecycle, portfolio role, customer segmentation, and channel economics.
• Review and validate analyses and recommendations; ensure data-driven decision-making.
• Build pricing capabilities and codify processes/playbooks.
• Drive cross-functional adoption of pricing guardrails with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Operations.
• Advise senior leadership on pricing opportunities, risks, and trade-offs.
• Monitor market dynamics and competitive moves to protect margin and grow share.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in pricing strategy/commercial analytics/related roles with leadership of high-performing teams; animal health/pharma/regulated industry experience preferred.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Strategic thinking, analytical rigor, financial acumen; excellent communication and stakeholder influence; proven team leadership; familiarity with pricing in regulated markets.

WORK LOCATION

Office-based; Parsippany preferred; hybrid role.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

• Base salary range: $181,000–$260,000.
• Eligible for short-term and long-term incentives.
