EPPM Senior Technical Consultant

Role summary

Technical lead for the EPPM solution. You own technical design, code quality and deployment across developments and integrations – including the EPPM – PLM Change Record interface – and mentor the technical team within a DevOps delivery model.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical design and build across ABAP / ABAP OO, Fiori / SAPUI5, CDS views, OData services, BRF+, the enhancement framework (BAdI / user exits) and SAP workflow.
• Design and build the EPPM – PLM Change Record integration and external interfaces (OData / BAPI / CDS / IDoc; SAP BTP / CPI where applicable).
• Lead code reviews, performance tuning, and transport / release management, enforcing client and SAP development standards.
• Resolve complex technical incidents and problems (L3), including advanced debugging.
• Estimate technical effort, mentor technical consultants, and drive regression and deployment cycles.
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices (e.g. abapGit / gCTS / transport automation).
• 8+ years SAP technical experience, including ABAP OO, CDS, OData, Fiori / UI5, BRF+ and the enhancement framework.
• Proven SAP integration experience (SAP-to-SAP and external), ideally involving PLM / Change Record or PS / PPM.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization and transport / release management.
• Agile / DevOps delivery and code-review leadership.

Preferred:

• Pharma / GxP experience and computer system validation (CSV); SAP certification.
