Elementary School Counselor
• The Elementary School Counselor provides a comprehensive counseling program supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students in Grades 1 through 5. The counselor collaborates with students, families, teachers, and leadership to promote well-being, positive relationships, and a safe, inclusive school climate. The position serves as a core member of the Elementary Student Support Services team.
Mandatory Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology;
• Master's Degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (preferred);
• Fluent in English with fluency in Portuguese;
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children in school settings;
• Deep knowledge of childhood social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development, as well as evidence-based counseling practices;
• Skills in delivering social-emotional learning (SEL), conflict resolution, and restorative practices.
Working Hours
• 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday from m 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
