In this senior role, you will focus on conducting power system impact studies, including steady state, dynamic stability, and NERC-compliance analyses. Your keen understanding of system impacts will drive projects geared towards renewable energy integration. You'll collaborate in ERCOT working groups while ensuring high-quality, timely completions of all engineering studies.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform steady-state, short circuit, and dynamic stability studies • Conduct NERC compliance analyses for project assessments • Lead generator interconnection studies and SSR investigations • Ensure resource projects meet voltage ride-through standards • Prepare detailed technical study reports and maintain datasets
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; power systems focus preferred • 2-4+ years of experience in power systems engineering • Proficient with PSS/E, PSCAD, and related software • Familiarity with programming in Python is preferred • Strong report writing and communication skills
