Interior Designer

At Random Rubble Design Studio, we design homes that are thoughtful, warm, and deeply personal. We’re looking for a full-time Interior Designer to join our growing team and take projects from concept to execution.

This role is for someone who enjoys both design thinking and on-ground execution — someone who can handle drawings, communicate confidently with clients, and ensure details are executed correctly on site.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop concepts, layouts, materials, and detailed interior solutions
• Create working drawings and presentations using AutoCAD & SketchUp
• Attend client meetings and confidently present design ideas
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants during execution
• Conduct site visits regularly to oversee workmanship and ensure design intent is maintained
• Manage projects end-to-end — from design development to handover

Requirements

• Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD is mandatory
• Experience with Enscape rendering is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of spatial planning, materials, and detailing
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage timelines, drawings, and on-site coordination efficiently
• Based in or around Mumbai

Job Details

• Full-time role
• Office timings: 9 AM – 6 PM
• Combination of studio work, client meetings, and site visits
