Finance Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a large public sector organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and timely financial information and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

Advise budget holders on budgeting, forecasting and in-year financial performance.

Develop financial forecasts and support the costing of research and business development opportunities.

Provide financial advice to ensure public funds are managed appropriately, with probity, regularity and value for money.

Support internal controls, governance frameworks and financial policies.

Assist with the development and implementation of financial systems and reporting processes.

Support annual accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors.

Provide professional financial advice to support effective decision-making.

Essential Criteria:

Candidates should either:

Hold a full current membership of a recognised professional accountancy body (e.g. CAI, ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA or CPA Ireland);

or

Have at least 1 years practical experience in financial planning/budgeting, management accounting, financial accounting/audit, financial systems development, or strategic planning and decision support within a finance or regulatory environment.
