Job Description

The role focuses on the controls and reconciliations of the groups FX management, cash and liquidity management, as well as the monthly intercompany and related party CFU process. The role provides a wide and varied exposure to general financial accounting, Treasury and product control. The position also requires regular reporting to the other regional offices and department heads across the globe.

Key responsibilities

  • Daily management of netting & matching the GL & Subledger on DUCO
  • Investigating cash breaks within the DUCO System
  • Posting Phase 3 entries for cash control purposes
  • Communicating with different teams to confirm expected funds
  • Ensuring the Money Market Funds are monitored through the month
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations in a timely matter and investigate discrepancies
  • Finance monitoring processes/reconciliation and documentation
  • Service Company cash management and CFU processing
  • Monthly Intercompany reporting to Finance management
  • Assisting with the Intercompany Payments for the month
  • Consolidated Intercompany review and settlement
  • Daily control reports and liaison with report recipients
  • Daily Margin reporting
  • Able to assist effectively and efficiently with Audit Queries during the year and year-end
  • Ad hoc projects & reporting as required by Finance management

Requirements

  • Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, with a good understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Strong Excel and numerical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with colleagues at different levels of seniority.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and support the team during busy periods.
  • Proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
